Biography


Pengfei Zuo is currently a PhD student in Huazhong University of
Science and Technology advised by Prof. Yu Hua, and will be a joint
PhD student in University of California, Santa Barbara advised by
Prof. Yuan Xie. He obtained the BE degree in computer science and
technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology
in 2014. His papers have been published in major international
conferences and journals, including OSDI, MICRO, USENIX ATC, SoCC,
ICDCS, IPDPS, MSST, DATE, HotStorage, etc.
His research interests include:
* Non-volatile Memory Architecture and System
   - Hardware layer: endurance, security, persistence
   - Software layer: data structure, index, storage, consistency
* Data Deduplication System
   - Performance improvement, security guarantee
   - Deduplication schemes for main memory, SSD, and HDD
* Key-Value Store
   - In-memory KV store
   - LSM-tree based KV store
* Software & Hardware Co-design Leveraging Deduplication and NVM
